Climate Policy Design and Implementation
The CPL works with countries to support them with national and sub-national climate policy design and implementation. Countries who are working to implement the Paris Agreement, or who wish to develop and implement new climate-relevant policies often wish to know which climate policies have worked in other countries, which have not, and why. CPL’s research can inform governments contemplating policy reform or new policy development. The CPL has or is working with the governments of China, Mexico, Haiti, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Uganda, Chile, and Samoa. In addition, CPL has conducted research in Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Brazil.
