21st Century Transportation Technology and Policy

Project Description

A conference is being organized to focus on both the technology and policy of transportation, with the primary objective of promoting leadership by the Massachusetts Baker Administration in advancing the development and implementation of regional market based policy for the transportation sector.  Massachusetts and other states participating in the Transportation Climate Initiative have been evaluating policy approaches for years, and an outside stakeholder event that focuses attention on the need for state action will help motivate states to move forward with meaningful policy efforts.  A secondary objective is to focus attention on the need for policy, technology, and commercialization efforts to achieve the multi-state Zero Emissions Vehicle agreement and enable innovative mobility options.
