Dr. Nora Hampl is a cross-disciplinary scholar in energy, ecology, and the geopolitics of renewable energy. Her research includes the study of impacts of energy infrastructures and technologies on the water-energy-soil-forest nexus in biodiversity-rich environments under climate change. Additionally, she conducts research on the dynamics between renewable and nonrenewable energy systems, and their imprint on energy security and the global energy economy.
