The 2026 Climate Policy Lab Symposium will be September 28th!

Symposium Description

Amid competing visions for energy supply, technological leadership, and domestic clean-energy growth, the symposium will examine three defining questions: What should emerging economy countries produce, trade, and pursue together? How can green industrial policy broaden participation in clean-energy value chains without creating a race only wealthy nations can afford? And how can countries raise their climate and economic ambitions in tandem?

Participation

This symposium will serve as an interface between government, academia, the private sector, and civil society organizations, enabling direct knowledge exchange among international researchers, policymakers, practitioners and industry representatives. We will bring together leaders in climate, trade, and development policy research, practice, and implementation as speakers.  Registration is open to the entire Tufts community and   participants outside of Tufts including Boston area university communities, industry experts, faculty, researchers, and students.

Dates and Location

The symposium will be held Monday September 28 at The Fletcher School, Tufts University in the greater Boston-Cambridge area.  The date is conveniently scheduled after New York Climate Week to enable participants to arrive in Boston after already being in New York.  Fletcher/Tufts is accessible via two subway lines, the Green Line (Medford/Tufts Stop) and the Red Line (Davis Square Stop).
